About Lynsie Gautereaux

Lynsie Gautereaux is co-owner of Plum Salon. She is a gifted hairstylist, who once thought she would be a nurse—instead, she decided to combine her love for people and her flair for hair into a profession that allows her to nurture both the inner and the outer beauty in others. Lynsie apprenticed with Aundrea Lecher, a hair design and platform artist with Innovative Styling Options. She also taught hair care and color, and after attending the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in Santa Monica, Lynsie committed herself to being a creative force behind the stylist’s chair. In the three years since she’s moved to Marin, she has not only established herself in the community with a loyal and growing clientele, she has also achieved her dream of partnering to own an Aveda salon of her own. Inspiring, no? She specializes in long hair, texture treatments, and communication—which is why clients say Lynsie is “a hair goddess,” “the best stylist I’ve ever been to,” “someone who makes you feel like an old friend,” and, well, someone you just “love, love, love.” When she isn’t at the salon or attending advanced courses at either the Aveda Institute in San Francisco or Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, you’re likely to find Lynsie enjoying the great outdoors, her friends, and her family.
